Project GROWTH (Gastops Retrofitting Operations, Work, and Tools) was a strategic initiative to overhaul Gastops Ltd.'s manufacturing and operational systems through the implementation of Epicor Kinetic ERP. The project was executed over a 12-month timeframe, focusing on delivering a tailored ERP solution to meet the specific needs of the oil and gas sensor manufacturing industry.
The implementation encompassed several key Epicor ERP modules, including robust Inventory Management, detailed Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Methods of Manufacturing (MOMs) for precise production control, Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) for managing product revisions, and the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for real-time shop floor control. A critical part of this project was the custom development of a Python-based integration with ADP Payroll, ensuring accurate and efficient payroll processing for hourly manufacturing personnel.
To support the project lifecycle and ensure successful user adoption, a comprehensive internal project management and training system was built using SharePoint. This platform served as a central hub for sharing project documentation, important links, and video-based training materials for end-users, streamlining communication and knowledge transfer.
